... a post about goats. WHAT?

It's absolutely incredible to me how quickly things can go viral. Example: Harvard baseball team "Call Me Maybe," "Gangnam Style," and more recently the "Harlem Shake." However, I have to share with you a trend going around the internet (or at least around my apartment!) you may or may not have seen that will definitely give you the giggles.

In order to fully appreciate any of the following videos, you have to watch this original:

I saw this for the first time this weekend and about lost it. How funny is that?!

Whoever decided to take this video, and roll it into your favorite pop songs... is a genius.

Taylor even tweeted this gem herself:

The best in my opinion. Goat vocal honorable mention goes to...

"Baby" Goat, if you will:

You can bet this goat will be loved...

and "Party in the USA"... with a goat, of course.

I apologize for the lack of actual content in this blog post, but these videos were too fun not to share. A little obnoxious in large doses, but hilarious nonetheless. It's been a long week already (hello hump day, lovely to see you!) but these definitely put a smile on my face!

Seen any great YouTube videos you love?!

friday's letters: a love letter to SC.

For this week's edition of the Friday's Letters link-up, I wanted to change it up a bit. Thanks to a little inspiration from the Southern Weddings Magazine blog month of love letters and this one from Editor-in-Chief Lara Casey to North Carolina, I was inspired to write a love letter to the great state of South Carolina.

I just have to brag a bit...

... on the only Ten-I-See!
(a.k.a my super smart fiancee)

He's started his modeling career! No, just kidding. This is just him being a goob with one of his architecture models from his time studying abroad, which brings me to some exciting news I wanted to share!

Andrew has been applying to various schools to get his Master of Architecture degree after the wedding in June. He's an undergrad architecture major and, in my completely unbiased opinion, one of the most motivated, hard-working, skilled students around! He would never admit it, but I know he's in the top of his class. Anyway, moving on to

the good news!

We were excited to receive word of his first graduate school acceptance this Friday! Though the school had not yet received all his letters of recommendation, the University of Tennessee in Knoxville contacted Andrew to notify him of his early acceptance to the program, with guarantee of a graduate assistantship (a.k.a a TA or research assistant position) at least 1 of his 4 semesters, as well as a generous scholarship called the Chancellor's Fellowship!

He is so excited and we are going to pay Knoxville a visit Monday so he can shake some hands and check out the campus and the program. He really wants to hear from the other programs so he can sort out all his options, so it's no guarantee we will end up at UT, but it is a wonderful option!

could this be our new home?!

I am so proud of all his hard work, and we are so blessed with the love and support of our families as we make some huge decisions and leaps of faith in the coming months. It's so crazy to think that within the month Andrew and I will know exactly where we'll make our new home together and I can finally begin the process of applying for jobs and looking for a place to live. The go-getter in me is just itching to get the ball rolling!

Just wanted to share our good news with my bloggy friends-- hopefully there will be even more to come! God is so good and I know he will take care of us on this crazy adventure.

Ever been to Knoxville? Any restaurants or cool places we should visit while we're there?!

100 days.

Remember in elementary school when you would have those "100 Days" parties and everyone would bring in 100 something? The possibilities were endless: 100 pennies, 100 rocks, or in my case, 100 acorns that overnight turned into wormy mini oak trees (ewww).

Wofford hosted a "100 Days" party for the senior class in celebration of our soon-to-be alumni status... celebration being questionable as an appropriate term in this context. It was catered by Red Bowl with awesome sushi, edamame, and fried rice, as well as some sort of Japanese beer and sake shots (not for me, but thanks!). We took in the slideshow of pictures dating back to freshman year and the many faces-- some familiar, others we'd forgotten are still at Wofford...

as this banner hung over our head:

excuse the poor quality... stolen from FB.

"100 days until you're alumni"... depressing.

And this banner we signed at Opening Convocation freshman year greeted us

...as we held these coozies as our constant reminder until graduation weekend.

But we still had big smiles on our faces celebrating our wonderful times behind and ahead as Terriers!

As alumni status looms (give or take) 100 days away, I can't help but think of all the things I'll miss and the limited time I have left on this beautiful campus. With 100 days left comes:

1 Black and Gold Ball
2 ZTA functions
4 home basketball games
12 chapter meetings
100 evenings spent with my wonderful roommates
14 collegiate weekends for fun and roadtrips
$275 Terrier Bucks to spend (not sad about that!)
...and so much more!

My time here has been a blessing and my collegiate years have grown me more than I ever thought  possible. Soon I'll be moving on, but I'll always say loud and proud, "Dear Old Wofford, hail!"

Any advice for a second semester senior?!

it's official....

...and I couldn't be more excited!!!

Remember this post where I told you about my favorite wedding websites?
And this post where I shared my manifesto according to the "Sweet Tea Society"?
And this Instagram post?! (follow me at ryannkroske if not!)

Well, my Southern Weddings Magazine obsessions has come to fruition as I have been added to the list of Southern Bride bloggers! I have loved following new blogs from the list and am so excited to now be included. Hopefully this will open an avenue to new blog friends and followers and lots of wedding inspiration along the way. Go hop on over to the page and check out some of the great bride bloggers that are out there!

Today we met with Kathy from Kathy and Company (and TLC's the Ultimate Bake Off!) to talk about cake and cupcake (yes, you heard right!) options and I have never been more excited for baked goods in my life. We also got my handsome future groom to try on some suits, so we're chugging right along but I'm exhausted! Hope y'all are having a wonderful weekend!
