{ the mccalls }

welcome, y'all!
my name is ryann.

This little space was formerly known as Unspeakable Joy, but since beginning the newlywed life in NC with my super cute future architect husband, I thought my space could use a little freshening up to reflect the many adventures, joys and struggles of marriage. In these pages you'll find my words about Jesus, life in Raleigh, family, marriage, art, postgrad life, and so much more.

I spend my days geeking out over grammar as a copywriter for a digital marketing agency, and my evenings Netflix-ing with my hubby and crafting burlap door hangers from my Etsy shop.

I'm a proud graduate of Wofford College -- that beautiful campus will always have my heart, and I was so blessed in my four years there. If you see me on my phone, 9 times out of 10 I'm checking the ridiculously wonderful and hilarious group text of my best girlfriends!

I have an obsession with the color turquoise and am a proud ZTA alum. I'm a wanna-be photographer and a definite social media lover. A true Southern girl, I'm always seen wearing my pearls and I believe a monogram is the best accessory. I have a love/hate relationship with exercise that I only entertain because I have a weakness for ice cream.

I'm a perfectionist that's anything BUT perfect, but that's okay, because I am covered with the grace of Christ. Even though I'm a sinner and I mess up a lot, I'm trying really hard to do two things: love God, and love others. That's what we're all here to do.

To know you've stopped by this little blog to read my words gives me so much joy. I hope you'll visit often!
